I just want to say that being a flight attendant is one of the most rewarding jobs that I have ever had. It is not for everyone though, as some passengers can be more than just annoying at times. It certainly has its moments that are anything but glorious.

I have had the chance to visit some of the most beautiful places in the world. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful people I work with. Many of them have become like family & have given me memories that will last forever. Below are some of the memories I would like to share:

Best Date Ever!!!

One of the most magnificent places I have ever visited. If you want to fall in love this is the place to go. On a two day layover in Venice I had one of the most romantic dates in my life. To bad it wasn't with my partner. My friend Maria & I were able to escape and enjoy all magic Venice had to offer. Thanks again to Maria & to Shawn for lending me your girlfriend.

Cuba

When I transferred to the Saskatoon base Cuba was defiantly a warm welcome from the parries’ bitter temperatures of -46. I got to spend over 30 days in Cuba & had a chance to skydive, swim with the dolphins, go horseback riding & much more. A gorgeous place to visit with a great deal of history & a wonderful Latino vibe.

Africa

Next Door

The African flying we did changed my philosophy in a big way. I never thought that 3 months would change my being in such a profound manner. I grew up very fast & my priorities shifted greatly. This was much more of a spiritual journey for me. I learnt that material possessions don’t hold as much value. It is what you embrace on the inside & the relationships that you have which make you a prosperous person. I finally realized I don’t need tons of money to be happy. I just want to be comfortable. It is the simpler things in life that will give me the greatest pleasure. There is so much beauty in Africa but it is mixed with the sadness of orphanages filled with children who lost their parents to AIDS.

I think this is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Just to know that there is a calm escape amongst the hustle & bustle of the big city gives me great comfort.

Home

The place I love best is the one I call home. No matter how long I am away I get through it because I know I am coming home to the city I love Mississauga.
